What does it do?
The RWTM provides an intermittent windscreen wiper sweep function in classic vehicles which have self-parking wipers that are either on or off.
Even those vehicles with the luxury of a two speed wiper motor still have no delay options.
Our module will give you the benefit of intermittent wiper sweeps in delays of 2, 3, 4, 8 & 16 seconds.
How does it work?
The RWTM piggy-backs to the “power” and “on” connections of your existing switch, activating your wipers in exactly the same way.
The module is controlled by a retro styled rotary switch.
Is it easy to install?
Yes! The RWTM has only four wires to connect, and a rotary switch that can be mounted anywhere you choose.
There is no need to change or remove any of your vehicle’s existing self-parking wiper system.
The control box is small and easy to hide – behind or under the dashboard, in the glovebox or wherever you choose.
Each unit comes with easy to follow fitting instructions, including diagrams.
Where can I buy it and how much does it cost?
The Retronics RWTM costs just £49.99 and is available to buy direct from us or via our eBay listing.
The module is also in stock and available to purchase at several classic car parts suppliers.
Where is the RWTM made and who are Retronics?
Each module is hand built in Devon, UK. Retronics partners Andy and Matt are two friends who between them have years of experience in the fields of electronics and classic motoring.
Andy and Matt designed the RWTM and tested the design thoroughly before putting it on the market.
The RWTM is fully compliant with the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR).
What is the guarantee?
Our products come with a three year, back to base, guarantee.
In the unlikely event you experience a problem with your module, simply return it to us for repair or replacement.
(Retronics will not be liable for problems with, or damage to, modules caused by misuse, or if the unit has been tampered with in any way.)
Is the RWTM suitable for any classic vehicle?
Most classic vehicles have fairly simple wiring, allowing our module to simply “plug”n”play”. Some vehicles however (for example some Jaguars) have far more complex wiring arrangements. In these instances care must be taken by the owner / fitter to determine whether the RWTM is suitable for installation / how to install it. If you have any doubts or questions, feel free to contact us.
(Retronics will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unsuitable installations).
